Our experience has been markedly different, with our much larger Investment Committee structure of yesteryear proving cumbersome and far more cluttered in terms of management. We have found having a more concentrated portfolio management team who, whilst having a niche sectoral expertise, are integrated across the entire decision making process, leads to far greater cohesion and effectiveness in the decision-making process.
